Yeah, this particular system has had real variability about where the convergence zones appeared. Much of yesterday they were well to the south or well to the north of Seattle. Then the snow-shadow effect collapsed and we started getting snowfall everywhere the cold air from the north met the wet air from the south. Kent was one of those places.
It's snowing just a little right now in the U District -- a few random flakes dancing around, refusing to settle. (Which sounds like it ought to be a description of something else altogether, though I'm not quite sure what.)
Anyway, as long as we don't get a big accumulation of snow or ice in along my bus route, the commute shouldn't be bad, really. The trains don't care about snow.
