The Seattle Tun keeps rolling on. The Tun is an open pub meet for Seattle Area SF/F fans, writers, and fellow travelers who like to socialize, talk, argue, gossip, and drink beer with like-minded fen. If you expect to be in Seattle and would enjoy a bit of beer-lubricated conversation on a wide range of topics, only one of which is SF, please feel free to join in. You can usually spot us by our Sensitive Fannish Faces.

This month we expect to be welcoming Christina Lake and Doug Bell to Seattle for a brief visit, so if you wish to gape in awe at the Actual Live Foreigners, this would be a good month to join us.

Yes, it is second Sunday today, but I've been laid out fairly flat with flu since Tuesday night, so hopefully you local and quasi-local fans were tracking that on your own. Anyway, same Bat Time, same Bat Channel, and like that. Not sure if I'll be there myself -- caucusing yesterday took what little wind I had right out of my sails -- but presumably Hal will show the flag if I stay home.

If you have good-quality used book bags/reusable grocery bags to donate to Potlatch's recycling efforts, please bring them and pass them on to Marci or, failing that, Jerry and Suzle.

The Pub is open 3-10pm on Sundays; NB that the bookstore upstairs
closes at 7:00 pm so if you need to do a bit of print-oriented
holiday shopping, or want to exit by way the bookstore door, you
need to do it before then. Otherwise it's just a quick nip 'round
the block from the pub door to the parking lot.
