Another LASFan Gone: RIP Mike Farkash

I knew him slightly, back in the day, probably ten, fifteen, or more years ago, at LASFS. A sharp, witty guy. The obit from one of the papers he worked for gives me to wish I had known him better.

Got this news from Ruth Judkowitz this morning - I actually knew him fairly well when I lived in LA and was sad to hear this. My favorite memory of him is leading the Dead Mouseketeers group at the Doodah parade, complete with white ghoul makeup.

That's right, he and Ruth were pals, weren't they? I remember they often showed up at the same events. As I say, I wish I had known him better.
