Okay, I'm sorry, but any quiz that produces a result wherein my lowest percentile score is verbal is either sampling a pool with a disproportionate percentage of Nielsen Haydens or simply rectocranially inverse.

Your brain: 100% interpersonal, 100% visual, 60% verbal, and 140% mathematical!
Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.

Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:

  1. Don't date someone if your interpersonal percentages differ by more than 80%.
  2. Don't be friends with someone if your verbal percentages differ by more than 100%.
  3. Don't have sex with someone if their math percentage is over 200%.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 82% on interpersonal

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 62% on visual

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 47% on verbal

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 92% on mathematical

I'm also a bit dubious about being in the 98th percentile for mathematical ability/preference, but I do have enough mathematical ability to be quite sure that my brain is not 140% mathematical. Unless they're trying to say that I've been borrowing 2/5 of someone else's brain to do math with, which, okay, that's a fair cop.

EDIT Wherein I demonstrate that I do so know how to spell Nellson-Haddon. Need I add: argh.

Haha. I just did the quiz having seen it on someone else's blog first.

Your brain: 160% interpersonal, 100% visual, 120% verbal, and 20% mathematical!

I think it's bogus also. There's no fucking way I have a higher verbal percentage than you. Fucking seriously. :-) Good news: we can date and have sex together.

"Nielsen Hayden". Two mnemonics: "I before E" and "Not like the name 'Neil', the other way round." (I tend to use the second.) I wouldn't mention it except you've got it wrong twice in the last week or so.

Yes, I noticed that. I do know the correct spelling, but don't always proof well on-screen. I meant to go back and edit the typo, but life intervened.

Your brain:
100% interpersonal,
80% visual,
120% verbal, and
100% mathematical!

You scored higher than 81% on interpersonal
You scored higher than 90% on visual
You scored higher than 90% on verbal
You scored higher than 90% on mathematical

Does this mean something? I have no idea.

If your brain is "120%" verbal, whoever made up the test has a brain that's -5% mathematical, and who scored higher than 0% on mathematical.

Definitely bogus. I did it, and got:

Your brain: 80% interpersonal, 0% visual, 160% verbal, and 160% mathematical

Which is ridiculous, because I know I have a fair amount of visual component in the way I deal with things. How else would it be that when I'm remembering a quotation from a book, more times than not I can remember where on the page I saw it?

I scored really really high on verbal and visual because they didn't have tactile choices and verbal/visual is my next choice.

For reasons uncertain they actually use 200% to indicate 100% or at least I think that's what they're doing. I really haven't figured out what is wrong with just using 100%.

Well, if so, they should be calling it "proof" not "percent".
