I saw that news snippet in the boston metro (free mini-newspaper) this morning whilst riding the train into work. Tom Delay is an asshat.

Ah, but that was a different situation. (end official excuse) I think you'll find many if not most supporters of Delay and/or keep-Schiavo-alive will accept that.

Also note that some wanted the care of Schiavo to be take over by the State - Florida or the USA, depending. This would result in an unemployed person receiving free food and health care, while not attempting to become employed. Sometimes I wish I had a few 'conservative' alter-egos on the wingnut blogs ...
