Signs of Spring

1. Lingering daylight after work.
2. Crocuses sprouting.
3. Ornamental plums on the quad showing first stars of a pink galaxy.
4. Overeager pink rhododendron ditto.
5. Ankle deep drifts of cat fur blowing about the apartment.

Crocuses? I have daffodils and reticulated iris blooming. The primroses have been blooming for nearly a solid month.

But oh, that lingering daylight! I love it.

Sprouts? flowers? We just got 5" snow, a relief after a boggy chilly thaw.
