So I'm checking the weather in Portland for the weekend -- holy crap it's supposed to be in the 90s all weekend long. There had better be shady parking or this "bring the dogs" business is Not Going to Work. Yipes.

Well, thanks for the thought, anyhow. Unfortunately, of the two, Shoobie is the one who periodically gets a rambling urge, and he's pretty exactly scooting height. I expect they'll be all right in the shaded garage with lots of water and regular walks.

We've had temperatures in the 90s all this week, and I've thinking to myself how deliciously cool it seems now after an entire month of highs over 100.

Quasiquoting: "Hey, Saint Peter, I just got down from LA town. I've done my time in hell." Which is to say, I've already served my sentence in places where it gets into the 100s on a regular basis and I live where I live now because I am happy to think of 90 as too fucking hot.
