Aw, Crap. RIP: Mike Glicksohn

akirluAll I know is what Deb Geisler posts, but in case there's anyone who wouldn't have seen Deb's post who will see mine I pass on the news: Mike Glicksohn died in Toronto, this morning.
I only met Mike in the flesh once or twice, myself, but he made a big impression. Mike was so audaciously warm, outgoing, and full of life, so infused with a spirit of gladness, and kindness, that he seemed able to put anyone at ease, make them feel welcome and wanted and part of the in-group. Around Mike, you belonged. Fandom could use more people like him. Hell, humanity could use more people like him. He was a good guy, and we are all poorer for his passing. My thoughts and good wishes go out to his close friends and loved ones today -- may they be comforted. Travel in light, Mike, you will very much be missed.
