Stuff. Also, Things.
Mar. 20th, 2009 04:01 pmI'm neither dead nor pining for the fjords. I may have an idea for a combination weblog and crossover fanzine though. Heaven help us all.
Signed up for a www.ravelry.com invite on March 11. They told me at that time that it would take about 7 days to get an invite. Checking on my status today, they say I should get my invite in about 2 days. I wonder if I should believe them?
The notebook I was keeping notes on the Corflu in has gone walkabout. I think I can reconstruct the notes for the hotel, but all the little interlino notes are dust in the wind. Bother. Also, my notes for the new fanzine were in there. Bother twice over.
The weather has gone mad again. Right now, the skies are blue again, but back when we were quietly amusing ourselves at the student who came in "Because God told him to" the skies went black and it commenced pouring for a while. Hmmm. If any deities have anything to say to me, be it known that I prefer the direct, verbal approach, rather than all these signs, portents, and metaphorical hoo hah. Just sayin'.
I make a damn' fine ham and cheese quiche, by the way. It just always takes longer to bake than I ever remember between times. On the other hand, it's superquick to reheat for subsequent lunches. Nom.
I have a bunch of time sheets I need to do. Must. Stop. Procrastinating.
Have you seen the video for how to fold a t-shirt in 2 seconds? Amazing.
