Okay, this is why I still love the freaking internets. Subsequent generations will undoubtedly be oblivious to the amazingness of having all this research power, but for those of us old enough to remember information gathering with index cards and Books in Print, it is a wonderment. Last night I watched an ad for the Washington Lottery with a penguin hang-gliding, and I thought "OMG, Jenn must see this." And then, "Well, shit, it's not a national ad and our DVR doesn't allow downloads." But finally, "I bet it's up on YouTube." And, so it was.

I love me some internets.

And you will believe that a penguin can fly.

I'm a bit dubious about the emu, though.

I love that commercial. The idea of taking non-flying birds for a flight just tickles the hell out of me.

Oh that's neat! I love how the penguin seems to remember flight and moves his wings...

I love me some internets too. :)

Of course I love that commercial too, but I thought that penguins actually do fly . . . underwater. Switched from aero- to hydrodynamic.

OMG. OMG.

*sniff* I knew the penguins could fly!! They told me.

OMG.

Btw, my next tattoo will be a ho tag of penguins sliding on their stomachs in the snow.

I love ya man.
