I don't usually think of Sweden, or the 18th Century, when I think of costumed re-enactors, but now I don't know why not. One of the great advantages to doing 18th C. costumed events in Sweden is that if you're lucky and clever and plan well, you can have your events in picture perfect, 18th C. manor houses and grounds, complete with gravel drives and swans on the lake. *Swoon*

Shoes are SO hard and indeed expensive. It's still on my must-have-list, unfortunately.
