OMG! Space!

I have to admit that the first Apollo moon landing mostly annoyed me at the time. You can't believe how many regularly scheduled cartoon shows got scuttled for that broadcast. Missing Bugs Bunny is serious business. Deeply annoying.

But Stephen Colbert chatting by live satellite feed with Dr. Garrett Reisman on the International Space Station just now was truly charming, not least because the space broadcast was incorporated into my show, rather than displacing it. How clever is that? And both men were visibly tickled to be talking to the other. And Dr. Reisman has remarkably fine comic timing for someone handicapped by noticeable transmission lag. Also, Garrett Reisman is hot.

Yeah, I always did have a weakness for Caltechers. Or was it short, buf, bald guys in space? I can never remember.

I'll remember for you: Caltechers. :-) He's good looking. He reminds me of the actor Christopher Meloni. Who is also good looking. Yowza.

Okay, yeah, 'Techers it is. Hmmm. And possibly a reason to watch Law & Order. What the hell, I've churned through all the back episodes of CSI already.
