Fans with Beers

I'm making another attempt at starting up a self-sustaining fannish pub meet in Seattle. Moving it to Sundays (in particular, Second Sundays) will, I hope, make it more plausible have good beer in a place where conversation doesn't require fluency in ASL. Next meeting at the Elysian Brewing Co. in Capitol Hill, this Sunday, at 2:00 p.m. If you read my LJ, you're invited.

Have fun! I'll be over on the 20th and 21st, a 2 day visit which is, even by my liberal standards pretty nutty.

I'm going to be in town over the Vanguard weekend in November so I hope to catch up then.

Well, if you have time for a beer or a meal of an evening on the 20th/21st, drop us a line. We won't be at the November Vanguard, because that's Orycon weekend, and we'll be in Portland (though presumably Randy will be up here). On the other hand, if you're still around the weekend after Vanguard, that will be Second Sunday again. Well, we'll sort something eventually, I'm sure.
