Proof of Concept Post

We got our tax refund. Hal bought me an Asus eee. My God it's little and cute. And pink. It needs Hello, Kitty stickers all over it. It's not as shiny as I expected. No, not Serenity slang this time, but literally not as shiny. The surface is more nubbly-matte than it looks in the pictures. But it's smaller and lighter than many hardbacks, and it should oughta fit into my purse. Still learning the smaller keystrokes it needs, but I think that will come okay with practice. Meantime, here I am in the living room, posting to LJ on my eee. My wee eee. Whee!

Edit: Strangely, the eee seems to have dated this post April 1, last night when I posted it. I'm correcting that now, but it's weird to have your computer play April Fool's jokes on you. Viva Linux, I reckon.
