Special Response Team just pulled up in a bigass black truck and disgorged a bunch of guys in padded armor and helmets. Sniper Guy and Leather cop are pulling back out.

Eh, I've taken some pictures. He can see those. Besides, Sarah woke him by barking a little bit ago, and explained the situation. He elected to go back to sleep. Most of the time, it's a lot like watching paint dry.

In fact, I may start working on the West wall, out of line of sight to the scene. Because frankly, at this point, I'd *rather* watch paint dry.

Well it made the news. It seems that there was a guy holding his todler hostage at gun point for 6 hours. everyone came out ok. But yikes! Glad you guys are ok.
