It will no doubt take a while for me to remember that there is more to life than packing and moving and eating take-out. For instance, there is also unpacking. And hunting for where the clean clothes got packed. And updating addresses.

Ack! Yes, got the discs, listened to them -- I think they're still in the car which means I actually know where they are, unlike many things. So thank you! They're fabulous! You rock! Whereas I am a toad for not letting you know sooner. It's just that there was this very large weight dropped on my head from a great height and after I was dead some snot-nosed brat from Kansas stole my best red shoes, and...well, anyway. I meant to say something, but I only ever remembered when I was nowhere near the internets.

What I want to know now is how in Hell Charlie Stross managed to keep working on his books while moving house. C'est impossible.

Now, see, the advantage of camping out here while most of my stuff is gone is that I'm keeping the washer & dryer. I just have to be sure to keep enough clothes that I'm not running them less than full. I'm going to check the subnotebook out tomorrow -- It's on Win95 and I'm not sure LJ or my banking software will handle that.
