But it did serve to remind me to pass on an idle goof of Hal's from recently: Joe-mentum: the product of Joe-locity and Joe-nertia.

Totally unrelated to DINO Joe, but do you happen to have a twin sister out here on Long Island? Because I saw someone today in the supermarket who was the very image of you (or at least as I recall from LACon)

This happens sometimes. Apparently at Corflu Wave, rich brown was pointing out some other woman as me -- no idea who. At one of the Minicons I attended, something similar happened with a different fan and (presumably) some other woman. Go figure. In any event, I was not in Long Island today, or, indeed, ever.
