akirluBackroom banter about a candidate with an, er, idiosyncratic, vita inspired me to point out that I must nevertheless stand up for Santa Cruz, as the home of another oddball mascot. "But," I muttered, "I bet they don't sell a lot of plush toys of theirs!"
