Not all Barbara Sher happy talk, but a thoughtful and thought-provoking essay on finding your way to doing what you love. Most useful to me are the tests and markers to benchmark against, and the admission that figuring out what you love to do is both harder and a longer process than is usually acknowledged; also recognizing that decisions about what to do are often necessary long before you have enough information to make them. At least I feel as if my slow and meandering path toward career fulfillment is neither weird nor even especially unusual, except possibly in my persistent belief that I haven't got to a point I can settle for, yet.
