So the RIAA is at it again. Launching law suits against file sharers. I'm pretty thoroughly torqued off about the slow theft of the public airwaves. I've been taking time I haven't got collecting links for a long post about this, but not managing to find others I rilly rilly want, so that will have to wait a bit -- I must work on my real job sometime. (Though if anyone has a link to the Ani DiFranco article in which she describes the fact that most artists actually loose money on their record deals, I'd love to get that. I can't seem to find it. Help! I also can't seem to find any kind of "contact us" information at the RIAA web site, other than an e-mail link for the webmaster, and the snailmail contact for corporate entities who want RIAA membership. But I'll work around that.)
On the other hand, I have something shorter to share about another pet peeve. I got the idea for a bumper sticker after reading the candidate statements over at the MoveOn Primary. It works on the same principle as the claim that buying illegal drugs supports criminals who kill people, so naturally the Wingers can't complain, right? Yeah. Anyway:
