According to this quiz I am

I am:
Gregory Benford
A master literary stylist who is also a working scientist.

Which science fiction writer are you?

Which is fort amusant, but wrong on so many levels, not least the "blabbermouth" dimension. But since the quiz outs itself on the fact that when Greg took it, the quiz told him he was Arthur C. Clarke, I guess the position of Greg Benford is currently open...

Shamelessly gacked from [livejournal.com profile] pnh, who is Frank Herbert. Or not.

I've done it twice. The first time, a month ago, I was Greg, but it seems, having become Greg, I am now Arthur C. CLark.

TK

Hmm.

I also am Gregory Benford. Having never met him, I'm not sure whether this is appropriate or not.

On the other hand, I have a whole list of "Well, at least I'm NOT"s.

We're all Frank Herbert, which I guess means, "You are a writer who had to choose between a bunch of incomplete and unsatisfactory choices."

I'm also Igor Stravinsky on pretty much the same deal. ("You are a writer of music that paradoxically looks in both directions, and you'll never get the two minutes you spent taking that quiz back, ever again.")

No more for me, thanks. I'm driving. ("I am a sourpuss with no patience.")

[profile] jervaulx just discovered she is John Brunner ("His best known works are dystopias -- vivid realizations of the futures we want to avoid"). If you knew Ann's opinion of JKHB from her one meeting in 1984 ("a bit of an arsehole" is the main thread), you'd know how hilarious this is.

Hey, I'm Cornwainer Smith. As I've said elsewhere: old, obscure; sounds about right.
