Thirty What?

Midday+. 37° outside. Wall heater laboring to keep it 60° inside. It's days like this when I think seriously about knitting myself a butt warmer.

Instead I made fresh scones and French scrambled eggs with fresh marjoram and feta, and did the dishes, in order to heat the kitchen. I keep forgetting how stupidly easy and quick scones are. I should make them more often, like even when it isn't freezing in the kitchen. Now, perhaps some Christmas baking...

I have a couple of long indian skirts with elasticated waists. Putting one on over the top of whatever jeans I'm wearing keeps me much warmer. Scone recipe looks much less fuss than some I've seen - thank you!
