Oh, No, Not This Again

Okay, so I still have a lingering cough. This has got to be at least Week 7 of the grunge. Might be week 8. Long time, anyhow. Monday was the first day in memory that I didn't have a tonsilly sore throat. As of last night & this morning? Tonsils sore again. Nooooooooooooo! Bored now. Do NOT Want. [Overused internetisms of displeasure here.]

Um. You have been to your doctor, right? I say this from the perspective of thinking that my walking pneumonia was just a lingering cough for some weeks before I went to my doctor about it.

I did go in to the doc early on, was found to have a sinus and ear infection, and had a round of antibiotics which cleared most of that up, though the fluid has been lingering in my ears. I think the rest has been an unfortunate confluence of layering effects as I picked up a second (and now maybe a third) viral thing, and the fact that this year's colds have been nasty bastards, but you're right, If This Goes On, I really must check in with the doc to see if there's something else amiss as well.
