1. Become fluent in my second language before my 7th birthday.
2. Studied metalogic with Alonzo Church, and nearly flunked.
3. Taken money from a millionaire at poker.
4. Been first introduced to Harlan Ellison on local television, at his house.
5. Screened the same Ed Wood movie for Tim Burton over, and over again.
6. Hosted a party crashed by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle.
7. Organized Regency dancing at my wedding reception.
8. Been mugged for orange juice by an elephant.
9. Served a subpoena.
10. Stood around dripping rainwater in Farah Fawcett's kitchen.
