A Good Sign

Based on her previous writings, I'd say Barack Obama's nominee, Dawn Johnsen, as head of the Office of Legal Counsel is a very promising choice indeed. This is someone who has been outraged at the outlaw Bush OLC all along, and advocates the key function of the office -- making sure that the President operates within the laws of the United States. I am pleased and hopeful that this is a sign that justice and the rule of law will be pursued vigorously in an Obama administration.
