Thud - Not the Clarion West Write-a-Thon

All right, I'm not write-a-thon-ing, but I am writing nonetheless. Between yesterday and today I've written a bit over 2k new words on the Godkiller manuscript. It's hard to be precise, because there was also a metric assload of editing done in there as well. I shaved just short of a thousand words out of the MS at the same time. The second chapter is done, and it is righteous, and the first conversation with Min and Amy has all the essential infobits I need to have there without getting stilted or weird. It can probably be streamlined, but that is for later. Getting all the needed set-up crammed into that conversation has been a major stumbling block, and now it is done and I am mighty.

So now I'm poised to incinerate the poor hapless teen vampire, tumble the characters into bed after all, and forge on to the first murder. I may have my momentum again.
