If I must have an earworm, at least let it have lyrics by Shakespeare. We re-watched Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing over the weekend, and now "Ladies, Sigh No More" is stuck in my head. Basic lesson here: when life sucks, sing hey, nonny nonny anyway. In other news, the crocus are up and blooming and I really, really, really need to weed my flower beds. Oh, and I spotted the first fruit blossoms of the season down in Montlake yesterday. Pink!

Sigh no more ladies, sigh no more,
Men were deceivers ever,
One foot in sea and one on shore,
To one thing constant never.

Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into hey nonny, nonny, nonny.

Sing no more ditties, sing no more
Of dumps so dull and heavy,
The fraud of men was ever so,
Since summer first was leafy.

Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into hey nonny, nonny, nonny.

Then sigh not so, but let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into hey nonny, nonny, nonny.
