Yes, people, I get text messages so seldom, I actually did not recognize the ringtone. On the other hand, I have timidly, reluctantly, and awkwardly entered the 21st Century at last -- yes, I have now figured out how to send a text reply on my phone. Not gonna be keeping up with the leetspeak kiddies any time soon for texting speed, tho. But suddenly, the use of weird abbreviations in lieu of sentences has fresh and lively appeal IRL.
