I don't get over to Wampum as much as I probably should, and so I missed this post when it went by. If for some reason you didn't get the link from Julia at Sisyphus Shrugged (
jmhm), go read it now. Because, as Dwight says, somebody should be paying attention when the penal system nearly kills a mentally ill man by leaving him without water for thirteen days, and you know, not many people are. I wonder if Dwight's maybe right, and there would have been a bigger scandal and investigation if it were an animal shelter treating dogs this way.
