Just back home from an evening of drinking (if you can call nursing two pints over five hours drinking) with daveon and Randy winolj, talking American politics and British skiffy and private space launch ventures and cold fusion and nutbar online Libertarian wankers, at the Elysian Brewery in Capitol Hill. Passed by marykaykare's house on the way home and thought vaguely of stopping to say hello but as it was nearly midnight, thought better of it. But it's all got me pining to go to Worldcon, somehow. Pity I didn't think of this when there was a membership up for sale here.

Oh gosh, if you were discussing private space launch ventures and cold fusion, you needed Jordin there. He's something of an expert on the former and has a old friend who's an expert on the latter. Give us a call beforehand next time.
