Well, it seems as if it's been a month of crises and disasters, both natural, economic, and personal, but even in the face of disaster, people need beer. And so as the calendar rolls around again to the Second Sunday of the month, let us get together and raise our glasses and show the fates that we are undaunted Fans with Beers. If you're a fan and happen to be in Seattle, please do join us.

From vaguely around 4:30 pm until at least 6:30 pm or later

The Pub is open 3-10pm on Sundays; NB that the bookstore upstairs
closes at 7:00 pm so if you need a book fix, or want to exit by the
bookstore parking lot door, you need to do it before then. Otherwise
it's just a quick nip 'round the block from the pub door to the
parking lot.

OT, we can't make it. On the other hand, we are officially heading to your new house.

We had to declare a destination on the vet certificate, for the horses, so we are headed to Kent.

With luck we'll make it. I'm certainly pushing for it, if we do make it, the odds are it will be next weekend.

News as it comes.

If you don't mind, we have friends who are going to be there the week after that, and might need a little bit of local guide. They want to go to sushi, and to Pano's Kelftiko (or at least one of them).

So, if it's ok, we'll give them your number.

Well, it would be swell to see you guys but I have No Idea what you would do with the horses while visiting. We don't have any pasture particularly nearby. As to playing native guide, I reckon you can give them our number but please only with the caveat that we can't make any promises about our availability -- there's rather too much on the table at the moment.

We'd be just three, and we can find a place for the horses, or just leave them in the trailer for a few hours.
