Must. Resist. Fabric. Must. Resist.

Have I mentioned that Denver Fabrics is evil? I had been meaning for some while to order some of the ultrasuede and leather scraps they sell for cheap to have handy for backing beadwork projects. But could I resist clicking on the "fabric clearance" button? Of course not. That's why they put stuff on clearance -- it's the crack cocaine of fabric shopping. But rust-colored silk chiffon? And a subtle silver gray silk-wool blend suiting? For just under $4 per yard? Agh. Stop me now! Luckily, they ran out of the suiting while I dithered. Phew. Rats.

It's a sad life, being a fabric addict.

aaargghhh! Curse you, Red Baron!

I just spent half an hour cruising that site and I'm a *reformed* fabric junkie! (Reformed into a bead junkie.)
Never mind, I'm probably safe in the knowledge that they won't do overseas orders. They won't, they won't, I will not hear otherwise!

I can't tell you how much Denver Fabrics stuff is sitting in my sewing room right now, WAITING for me to do something with it...

That silk chiffon comes in a beautiful purple too. Good thing I can't sew...

Yes, indeed they do. You may have missed the post in which I first discovered them through a friend mentioning that they have good prices on Folkwear patterns -- better than direct from Folkwear -- although my best source for those is still eBay stores.
