I Am Still Not A Birder, But...

This bird identification quiz is kinda fun. In particular, it's interesting to me to go through the older quizzes at the bottom, where they include the correct ID and a fair bit of exposition on what to look at to identify the bird. The Bird Guide main page looks like it will also come in handy.

Still not a birder, though.

Not any kind of birder, either. However! I am doing well enough to figure out the general family of bird, which is points over the general observation, Look, it's a bird! Robin, sparrow, crane-type heron thingy. No pigeons! where are the pigeons? Specifics are so nice. Look, a crow! or raven. Whatever. Was that a seasonal reference?

Judging from my performance on those quizzes, I'm not a birder either. I got maybe a third of them.
