Excellent idea.

In general terms, if you don't praise people when they do something right for a change, then a) they may never figure out what "right" even is if nobody tells them, and b) they may well decide that if doing right doesn't even get them an "attaboy", then there's no point in bothering.

(Or, as I occasionally mutter to myself, "I don't care if they don't deserve it just for exhibiting basic human decency. . . give them the goddamned cookie.")
